Salmanilla can be caught from almost any type of food, especially from chicken or a cutting board previously used for preparing chicken (or fish) without it being washed properly or unwashed hands. It can be transferred to veg or anything if not cooked.

We eat sushi all the time and love it and have never been ill, we make it as well as enjoy Japanese restaurants.

I did get salmanilla from undercooked fish in a fish 'n chip place. I was very ill for about a week and quaranteed!

Since that experience, I use latex gloves when I handle any raw animal product.
