Go for it, just don't give it your all, and let him persue you a bit. Sometimes guys can be clueless, give him one. You might be pleasantly surprised, if he isn't interested, think of it as though he is rejecting a stranger, because if he knew who you were, then he would probably already be persuing you. Right?

Wait and see if he'll ask you out first. If a guy really likes a girl (I don't care HOW shy he is), he'll ask her out. If you ask him out, you don't know if he's saying yes just to be polite or if he really likes you. Just give it some time! And read this article:

sure! ask him out! but first start up a conversation bout somethin like your favorite food or movie then say "hey, you wanna go catch a movie this weekend? how bout going to that restaurant with the great pizza this weekend? dont offer to pay though. split the bill when the check comes... it makes everyone feel less pressured. trust me im 36 yrs old...it works great! and if they even remotely like you they will go!

idk...i hav the same problem, but they guy i kno i can tell sorta likes me, but i dont wanna ask him out...i would wait a lil bit, but if he like has a rep of not asking out girls, go for it.
