I don't know his date of birth or death. But when Billy Graham was a young man he worked for Youth for Christ, and Templeton worked with him. HOwever Templeton eventually abandoned evangelical Christianity - or faith altogether. He is a successful author.

I do. He was supposed to be the guy doing what Billy Graham is doing, but he lost his faith.
