so I'll try again. Which feels better; victory or revenge? What do the spiritual warriors out there think? (it's not quite how i asked the first time) - And, which is more satisfying?

Believe it or not, for me, neither. I do not require either in my life. It is enough for me to know I have done what is right... and leave it at that. Victory is reserved for elections and hockey games. Revenge is useless.

Spiritual Warfare is waged on the knees. Victory is seeing The Lost Saved. The Bound Freed. Victory is better than Revenge, because Revenge belongs to God, not us.

Victory, because the only true victory you can have is over your own small self. Revenge only causes complications, tying you to the person who you felt wronged you in the first place. This is why the wise teachers, such as Jesus, taught us to loose the chords of bad feelings we have with another through forgiveness and forgetting.

I imagine that victory would feel better, if I had to choose. Revenge is an enormous waste of time.

Revenge is for God to decide - I would rather have God fight my battles and decide the fate of my enemy.....victory will be to the Lord's glory as well......so neither.
