My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who was, and is, and is to come.

I plan and pray for miracles. They happen every day. There is always going to be problems here in the physical world. That's it's nature. If I concentrate on whose in front of me and ask myself what would LOVE do in this given situation? Then go from there. When I think about smiling and greeting those I see throughout the day with a smile and a kind voice and knowing how sometimes that can make all the difference in someone's day. The long and short of it is where am I going to put my focus? Am I going to focus on that which I cannot change or am I going to focus on me and how I might be out in the world. I can do something about that. Where I can make a difference, that's where I focus. Where I cannot make a difference, i do not place my focus there. I do what I can and where I can and trust that it's enough.

By the way, I believe miracles to be "a shift in perception" as defined by "the Course In Miracles". When I pray I for miracles that's what I pray for is a shift in perception. Have you ever had a situation that was just giving you aggravation to no end? And then, all of a sudden it changed? I mean, the situation didn't change(nothing outside of you changed), but all of a sudden you decided to look at it in a different way(something inside of you - your mind - you changed your mind about it). In away such that it no longer brought you pain? It's true that there are a lot of problems in the world. It is also true that there are a lot of amazing people doing amazing things. I hope to be one of them, if only in my small corner of the world.

I hope my thoughts on this help. If not, nevermind.

Knowing that I'm granted the serenity to accept the things I can't always change, & accept it. Also, I 'm given the strength needed to maintain the "Survivor" status ...

...from any of the "myriad struggles" from day to day...

I find hope in the fact that nothing happening today is new. We've always had strive, we've always had wars between countries and religions, and we've always had death and destruction. So, if the world has survived this long, much of it without me, then I'm not really expected to do much more than sit back and appreciate the small things God gives us each day: fresh snow, a good night's sleep, a call from a friend. That's what really matters.

You get 100 points, my friend, for using the adjective "myriad" correctly.

My wife gives me hope, and my grandson; hope that the sun will again rise and I can spend another day with both of them.

Peace to you, and compliments for good English mechanics.

Remembering that the Creator loves me. I saw this power point presentation on an e-mail recently that showed views of the world from outer space, and looking at the lights, and beaches, I realized how much love the angels must have, looking down. Jesus is coming soon, with all of them...
