I've not heard of weddings as being particularly good places to meet dating prospects...but I'm sure it occurs sometimes.

What about setting up dates with someone they just met? How else will you get to know that person?

This is purely based on individual's IQ level. Nothing to do with women or men. Go with your gut feeling and normally it is right.
Go ahead and set up a date if you think the person whom you have met is desirable. See for those signs which are willing and inviting.

I would say that women and men are about the same amount inclined regarding both of those.

women can meet people anytime, anywhere they want.
that's why it's not worth it to worry about her cheating on you these days. it's basically out of your control.
