P.S. Im not at all religous so im not biased toward any other fairy tales

First, ALL modern religions are just very successful cults.

If we are not more careful about the kind of people we elect to EVERY office, from dog catcher, through the school board, to the city councils, we will be in the middle of a theocracy. The Christian agenda (and this is well-documented) has been to infiltrate all levels of government, to bring about their eventual power grab. The recent incidents in Dover PA should be a warning: The elected school board, comprised mainly of born-agains, tried to force the teaching of creationism (disguised as "intelligent design") in the tax-supported schools. They were, fortunately, found out, and voted out. The new secular school board threw out the Christian curriculum. Kansas is again embroiled in a battle against religious fanatics trying to force religion into tax-supported schools.
It's not going to end soon. It's not about conversion, or "God's word," or saving souls. It's about power, pure and simple. They're just hiding it behind religion.

I dont know that much about Governor (not Senator) Mitt Romney, but I dont think that when he was the Governor of Mass. he pushed the state to be more religious.

Remember that Massachusetts is one of the most politically and religiously liberal states in the United States.

If he is able to be a successful Governor of a state such as that it shows his ability to work across religious lines.

you're amazing that Mormons are very into sharing their ideals with others, on the ultimate time. yet, they are additionally very respectful of alternative peoples ideals and could no longer impose their ideals upon others. They strongly fee the persons amazing to p.c. for themselves the path they're going to take. additionally, the Mormon church does not tell its contributors a thank you to vote, yet that they'd desire to grow to be knowledgeable and be lively interior the community. there are a number of Mormons who're Democrats (Senate Majority chief Harry Reid) and Republicans. Romney has confirmed that he does not permit his faith effect his politics, a minimum of in finished. of direction his faith impacts his morals, his opt to bolster the kinfolk, his acknowledgement of individual accountability, his appreciate for all mankind, etc., yet it incredibly is not politics, those are morals. look at his background, his morals, and his schedule and vote on that, no longer on his faith, provided that's barely one area of him. it would be ignorant to do in any different case.

I agree, but we all know that the people of the US would never let the government become a fundamentalist theocracy. I mean to say that the U.S. people are too strong and intelligent to do that. They are smart people and are ready to take on any fundamentalists!

In some states it's illegal to hold a prayer meeting in your own home without a permit. How can you be so dumb.
