Density-wise. Like if you were to make a battering ram what would be the damn strongest would ever?

Others might be right but my vote goes to Bios De Arc wood. Also known as the horse apple tree or the Osage orange. I've also heard folks that have tried to chop or saw one down call it, among the nicer things, living steal. When it's dead and cured it's even harder. Probably why they used to make bows out of it. That's why it's called Bios De Arc. Or as we say here in Texas "bodark".

The heaviest and the hardest wood in the world is Snakewood {Piratinera guianensis}. It's specific gravity averages 1.30.

I don't know if everyone calculates wood hardness the same way, but within the flooring industry, ironwood (Lignum Vitae) has the highest hardness rating, and Snakewood has the second highest rating.

probably wood that we dont know about and other people do stuff that we think has not been discovered but the local people there knew about it all along
