semi-and demi- are not the same.

semi-permanent colours include your manic panic colours, etc.
demi-permant are what box colours call "semi"

you should go to your salon and ask for colour there. don't do it at home as you'll just damage the crap out of your hair. leave colour to the professionals!

ask your salon for an application of paul mitchell pm shines. it's a demi-permanent colour line with bold, beautiful colours with intense shine.

redken also makes a line called "shades," which works nicely, too.

but both of these can only be purchased by a professional.

if you're not willing to see someone who knows what they're doing, i guess i can't help you!
