The spirit soul is the driver of the body. The body is compared to a garment that only takes shape when there is a person inside, similarly the body is alive,moves and reacts when the spirit soul inhabits it. When the body becomes useless due to old age, disease or mortal injury, the spirit soul exits the body and searches for a new one. This is called the wheel of Sansara or reincarnation.

The different between life and death is like choosing good or bad.
in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin,and in this way death came to all men,because (in Adam) all sinned..."(Rom 5:12)
All the generations following Adam and Eve have inherited their fallen nature.All have come under the power and authority of satan.(Eph 2:1-3) ....as for you ,you were dead in your transgressions and sins...
Life to Jesus....but death to satan...

Life is living on this earth in a body of flesh and blood.
Death is when the spirit leaves the body and goes whichever place it is going.
Death is not the end of everything as some people hope it will be.

What a silly question. In life you are alive experiencing all the things you experience on a daily basis. In death your a stiff in the ground filled with embalming fluid with worms and other critters decomposing your body.

Wel picture it this way; life is like having a Tv on and watching a movie and death is when the power surges, blows out your TV and you never finish the movie. No more electricity and your TV set is broken.
