You can deposit money in my paypal account, that will help....lol

Just support government policies that help veterans and active duty troops.

You can visit Va hospitals.

You can contact your local DAV ( disabled american veterans ) and see if they need any volunteers.

Alot of older vets need car rides to the VA hospitals.

Most local newspapers have a community section in the sunday paper, that list organizations that need volunteers.

From a veteran:

1) Fly your flag, proud and visible.
2) Pray for them and for those of us still serving.
3) Volunteer at a local VA hospital - bring flowers, candy, words of encouragement, a smile.
4) Contact a local military base to see how you could support a family of a deployed member.
5) Even if you don't pray, remember them in your thoughts.
6) Stand up for them. Active duty personnel cannot engage in public debate about what they are doing. They need us to stand up and protect their backs here at home.
7) Finally, when you see a veteran, simply say "I know this is nothing but thank you for all you have sacrificed."

Thank-you so much for your desire to help. Truly, your appreciation makes our sacrifice worth doing.

Do you personally know any veterans? If so thank them personally for the life you get to lead! If not look for pen pal or goody box projects on line and do one of those. If you live near a military installation then join USO. Just asking the question raised my spirits. 9 years in uniform in the service of the Citizens of the USA.. US Coast Guard 37 Lives saved where I was personally involved in aid to them and assists in 153 more where my ship mates were the ones who went into the water after them or fought fires or ship sinking. Thanks for the recognition!

donate to Iraq Veterans Against the War (ivaw.org).
if you really stand for freedom in this country, that includes the freedom of dissent. And for all those who say "Support the Troops," remember that means supporting their civil rights and human rights-- which includes the right of conscience to take a hard stand, being veterans who are critical of the war. Think that's easy? Think about how much courage that really takes.

Volunteer at the local VA Hospital. You can go to www.va.gov to look for volunteer opportunities all across the country. They are looking for drivers to pick up vets to take them to their appointments right now. You just need to attend a class at the VA on driving their vans. Thank you for thinking of us!

I'm with the answer by Jason. Pray, not only for our men in Iraq, but for the nation. We are in great need. If this war with Islam is not fought for what it is, You and I will be fighting in our own yards.
