My 5 year old daughter had gorgeous, stick straight hair that is always FULL of static. So bad that sometimes it frusterates us both. I wash and condition it to no avail. Is there something I may have in my cupboards that I can put in her hair when washing that helps? I know that fabric softener sheets rubbed on the hair help, but I don't use them, therefore don't buy them. Is there a shampoo out there for static prone hair? Any advice would be great! :)

Fine hair usually is static prone. Loreal makes a product for de-tangling babies hair. I used that on my daughter and it helped with the static. Another option is always hair spray. It works.
Good luck.

anti-static spray sprayed on a hairbrush or comb works better than a dryer sheet. Also the store brand which is cheaper, actually smells better! (Static-Guard smells like pickles).

make valuable this is definitely conditioned, and probably evaluate utilising a smothing pomade (this is many times sparkling and petroleum-jelly based), this would desire to help with the flyaways. purely rub a tiny quantity into your fingertips, and then pull your hair via your arms to furnish an exceedingly gentle coating. do no longer use to plenty or your hair will seem greasy.

I have never seen such shampoo or conditioner designed to help, but I always use dryer sheet. I would buy a cheap box and try it out. I think they are what you need.

just use static gaurd on a brush or comb (like the person above me said) but also make sure you keep brushes/combs clear of hair because that can transfer the static.

Try a hair serum. Just rub a little bit between your palms and run it through her hair when it's dry. John Frieda makes a good one I think.

stay away from wool clothing and just purchase a simple serum and work a bit into her hair after she's dressed.
