I was on the Middle School team last year. About 35 kids tried out and i played the #3-4 spot all year. Around half of the kids that didnt make it are going to try out again. Everyone is getting better, along with myself (25 at a par 27 course). I think my coach liked me. Even if I have a not so good tryout, am I a lock to make the team?

All u need to remember is this....u beat 31 other kids last time....u can do it again. Just keep your head and heart in the right place. Good Luck Sweetie :)

I'm sorry to say having the coach like you is not what makes you make the team. You need to play good and beat the rest of the kids to make the team. If you struggle and don't beat that many people, the coach is probably going to cut you. Just try to have fun and play good and then you'll make it. But don't think about making the team or not, because then you'll probably play poorly because you'll be thinking about everything but playing good.

First of all, if you shot a two-under par, I don't care if it's a par three course, you wouldn't be here asking stupid questions.
