My left arm at the lower bicep was strained from trying to escape a submission. I tried to long instead of tapping. This happened about 3 weeks ago and I still feel the pain when I move my arm. I'm going to stop training and wait for it to heal. Is there anyway to speed up the recuperation process?

First thing to do. Leave the EGO at home when you go to the gym. It is a place to learn things not to prove things, that is what the cage or ring is for.

Secondly

RICE(physiotherapy)

The classic tetrad of treatment for sprains and minor joint injuries consists of:

Rest
Ice packs - at home, a pack of frozen peas in a towel are effective as it can be moulded to the part
Compression - but do not use if too painful as the joint surfaces may be bruised
Elevation
hope this helps fella, also take plenty of arnica and maybe use some Thai Oil on it

I would say ice it, 3x a day for 10-20 minutes. I think it works better than heat, at least for me it does.

If you have the time/resources for it, maybe accupunture... Otherwise just rest it until its better. Thats why my hubby does. If you keep reinjuring it before its better you could really mess it up.
