Otherwise, angels don't always send messages. God speaks personally to many people. Until Jesus left the earth, God couldn't speak personally with anyone. We were seperated by sin. Jesus created the bridge that allowed us to draw to him. Then the Holy Spirit was sent so that God could speak through him to us.
