It was around 750hp in the mid to late 90's. Now they crank out about 850hp, and damn they do sound really good in person too. My favorite is when they are roaring around the corners at Talladega in the big pack, the echoing roar all the engines make is cold chilling.

750 hp and 650 ft torque there all pretty close to these spec
where they differ will be in the transmission and rear end gearing and front end set up with springs and wedge adustment and the biggest and most used part for all of these is the duct tape

according to rusty wallace somewhere between 800 to 830 ,depending on the engine builder, for an un-restricted engine. and somewhere around 450-475 for a restrictor plate engine(Daytona&Talladega)

BEFORE THE RESTRICTOR PLATES 700HP 600FT LBS OF TORQUE. AFTER THE PLATES 550HP AND 450 FT LBS.
