Hi, I'm in Freeskate 2, right now..
Anyways, if you're doing a program choose a song that you skate to, but isn't to flashy, or has rude words. I would do a song like How to save a Life or something that you like.
~Hope your program is good!

How about Lord Of The Rings? They have some pretty powerfull music. It mainly depends on your style of skating. Are you gracefull? Or kinda' bouncy and fun? For bouncy and fun, I might suggest something like Pink Panther or mabye a funny oldies song. I'm sure no judge would object " Funky Town" or " Girls Just Wanna' Have Fun" ( if you're a girl ) .

You can view a large list of music CDs for skating here: http://www.sonicedgemusic.com/catalog.html Many of them are rated. I suspect that most of the tracks on each CD do not have lyrics.
As for what kind of music, it depends on your taste. Are you a fast skater or a slow skater. Are you more athletic or more balletic? These all go into picking the best kind of music for you.

The best way to find music is just to head to your local books & music store to sit for a few hours and listen to various cds. Soundtracks, overatures, showtunes, classical, there are many genres to explore.

You could also try going to used cd stores and buying cd's for like a dollar and pulling music off there. Also, if you already know what you want you could pull it off limewire.
