Undeserved merit. However this could be greatly expanded.
It is clearly set forth in Scripture in contradistinction to works, as a means of salvation. This aspect is essential to a right understanding of the Gospel.
Nevertheless it is not merely a bestowal of merit, but an impartation of transforming power which changes sinners into saints, and unjust men into righteous men.
"For the grace of God...has appeared,,,teaching us..."
(Titus 2:11-14)

I would say that grace is a way of life, going through life doing the very best you can to treat each living thing with respect and dignity going out of our way to help someone in need it really doesn't take much to lend a hand do you get my meaning

It's the period we are living in right now. God continues to show grace for He wants NO ONE to perish. But eventually His grace and patience will come to an end.Be prepared, eternity is a LONG time.

Grace is God's voluntary and loving favor given to those He saves. We can't earn it, nor do we deserve it. No religious or moral effort can gain it, for it comes only from God's mercy and love. Without His grace, no person can be saved.

Grace is rather like all creation being enveloped in a great big hug from God.

Grace is the unmerited favor of God. You cannot earn it. God extends his hand of mercy down to man and waits for him to take hold. He has already done his part to save you and it is up to each one to take hold of that mercy by obeying His plan of salvation. Grace is God's pardon if you are willing to do your part.

The best definitions I've ever heard:
Justice: getting what you deserve
Mercy: NOT getting what you deserve
Grace: Getting what you DON'T deserve
