okay so all of my friends have a bf but i am the only one that doesn't have a bf. So i have been wanting wone for like ever. And like people make fun of u if you dont have a bf. So I decided to make one up...alough he is a real person...he isnt my bf. So all of my friends are happy for me... and two of them think that i dont have one...is there a reason for this...they are also two of the people that dont have BF's. So And is there a way that i can get them to believe me more? Help please

You're probably going to get caught up in this lie, and it's going to be embarrassing when it happens... maybe you should just tell everyone you guys broke up and leave it at that... and don't worry if people make fun of you right now, they'll probably get pregnant and drop out of school while you'lll be more successful b/c your #1 concern isn't having boyfriends... and maybe they'll also grow up...

hey well i personally think u should stop wit the lieing..if u keep saying u have a bf. then if a REAL guy likes u he will never ask u out becuz he will think u already have one....when u really dont..so i suggest and this is totally my opinion only but u should just stay quiet about that whole having a bf thing..no offense but its just lame.

any chance you can 'rent a boyfriend' just for one dance or something.
If you have an older cousin or something that you could have one of his friends be the stand in.
I did this for my little cousin. It has hysterical for her and we had a blast going to this little dance with him.
we were sophmores in college and they were high school (10th grade).
It meant the world to him and we really had a blast, our boyfriends even showed up and danced with a few of the high school girls
Maybe you could try that .
If that does not work, make his grandmother get really sick where he has to move to go and be with her.
or you can 'catch' him cheating on you and dump him
then when they ask you questions about him (you can say you are just too upset to think about him)

You should of been honest about this whole situation in the first place instead of making up someone that you aren't even seeing at all!! If word comes out and your friends do find out that you are making all of this up they are going to be hurt by it because you lied to them!! If you are honest with them then you wouldn't be in this situation trying to find a way to make them believe you!! Anyway if they do find out and if you do eventually end up going out with someone for real they are definatly not going to belive you this time!!

Why are you making up an imaginary boyfriend? Is it really that serious? What is wrong with being independent? You don't need a boyfriend in order to feel good about yourself. If you do, then there is a bigger issue!
