Walking by faith means that you don't need proof, that what God says will happen -- will By sight means you need proof, that's why the Catholics etc. need icons for them to have faith.

Faith is believing that you have something even before you get it.
Where the walking comes into play is living everyday according to God's will.
For example, if a person has a problem such as an addiction and they know that one day God will deliver them from this problem, but they do not yet see it. Their faith is strong in which they BELIEVE that God one day God will deliver them.
Let us take a Bible example.
Hannah was the mother of Samuel in the Bible.
Hannah was one of the wives Elkanah, which the other wife was Peninnah.
Peninnah bore a child, but Hannah was not able to bear any children.
Hannah constantly prayed to the Lord and finally, God answered her prayer and she bore Samuel. She put Samuel in the temple in order to become a servant of the Lord and to thank God.
Hannah is someone who was walking by faith and not by sight.
Even though she did not see the child yet, but she had faith sooner or later that God would give her a son.
God bless!

It means close your eyes, walk onto a busy highway and have faith in god that you will not get hit by a car.

To me it means that I don't know everything and if i'm trusting God for something in my life I should not let natural circumstances or things I see change what I know God will do for me.

It means to carry on our lives trusting that God loves us and is working out things for HIs glory, even when it gets rough. We shouldn't need signs to know He's there.

One meaning to me is that it is wiser and healthier to stop believing and doing those things
which cause myself and others pain and injury and if I can't, to turn to beliefs and others that are living
a happy, heathier life and find out how they are doing it without self-destructing ways. I call that God
working through others.

Basically, it means to ignore every sense that God has given you and to rely on a book based in lies for truth.

It didn't make any sense to me either.

I guess it just means to rely on God to direct you through life, putting His Will above your own judgment.

If that makes some people happy, then more power to them. But personally, I don't see why God (assuming He exists) gave us judgment if He didn't want us to use it.
