from the K-lite Codec pack standard installed on top of it also? From www.free-codecs.com. It's been a GREAT piece of video software. My friend ripped me a copy of a movie which I know SHOULD have english subtitles.. but I don't see anything... anyone know something?

thanks!

You need to get this from the source of it all..

Go to Satsuki Yatoshi's Softs webpage and download the Satsuki Decoder Pack. This will CORRECTLY install everything you need and set you up right. Uninstall the k-lite set first.

Use the K-Lite mega codec. ( a little better than the regular k-lite pack). Install all the goodies with it.

As far as subtitles do; sometimesubtitles areripped into the moviwe file itself. (i.e. like taping a program while closed captioning is on.). Othertimes, you downoad the movie file and then download a separate file with the subtitles. The subtitle has the text of what is spoken at each time stamp on the video.

Sometimes you have to load the subtitles yourself. Do youhave a subtitle file? If so, give the extension of the file.
