what should i do about my crush?

i really like a guy and i know he likes me back he's just being really shy about it and telling me he doesnt, but a bunch of his close friends told me he was lying. 1. i dont know who to believe and 2. i dont know what to say or do about the situation. im having a hard time doing anything
