the water is probably just washing around them, you need to swallow something that is going to push them out of the way....be careful though

u shud never swallow more than 2 pills at a time as it is very dangerous. if u wudve swallowed one by one or two at a time, u wudnt have faced such a problem. drinking a lot of water is the best idea. ur first answerer suggested eating a piece of bread, which i think should definitely help too.l

Keep sipping fluids. Try something warm which will help them dissolve more quickly. Eat some canned fruit or jello or pudding or something 'slippery' to help push them down. Next time you take your vitamins, be sure and take a swallow of water before you take them, to 'lubricate' your throat. You'll be ok, just relax and keep drinking.

Swallow some food.
They may not really be stuck there; they may just have annoyed the esophagus and it feels like they are still there.
Either way, just eat something.

Mashed potatoes or a teaspoon of warm sunflower oil, or both of them together. Look out the oil should not be hot , as to not burn your throat.
