I see "vista capable" in all the new computer ads that i am recieving. Is vista capable with any computer (my computer is Dell Inspiron 9300 year 2005 - bought right before the whole "vista capable" thing even started), or can we only install it in computers that actually say "vista capable"?)

Capable does not mean READY.

To be Vista ready you need the following:
Blank 200 Gb hard drive
4 Gb of RAM
3 GHz processor or better
128 Mb high end video card
A broadband internet connection
2 days of time

Then go at it and install it.

Otherwise buy a brand new computer with these specs.

Vista can run on less, but dont kid yourself - it needs 40Gb FREE to do the installation...
