So, I've dated this guy for about a month now. The problem is, he and I have started to fight over some things, some were okay other's pushed some buttons. For example, I told him I am abstaining and he said "Is the true reason why because you're scared?" Yes, I have my fears but, I'd rather give my love to those who earned it, and Im not ready for such a commitment like that at my age. I'm sensitive and I take things personally (which is terrible) and he's outspoken and can be really chilled. Even worse, I told him I was going to a party on Friday and I said "it's cool with you?", just making sure that he doesnt catch an attitude when I'm dancing with another guy because he cannot go, and he said "i dont care what you do! I dont ask YOU for permission, why should you?" Our personalities seem to conflict a little so, what should I do? Should I leave him, or try to make it work? I like him alot, and I'm happy when we're together and I asked and he says he's fine. So, what should I do

Well you say you're happy, but it doesn't sound like you totally are. Otherwise you wouldn't be on here, and you wouldn't have to ask him if he's happy.

Are you both stressed from other things (i.e. work) and you're bringing it home to your relationship? If so, stop it! lol No good can come from that. Can't take your anger out on eachother.

If it's just "the way things are" then I would reevaluate the relationship. If it's only been a month and you're already seeing his angry side, it doesn't sound too promising for the future. He should respect your beliefs on your sex life. If not, then he's not the one meant for you. He needs to move on and find someone on the same sexual level as him and you need to find someone that's will to wait with you.

I say that any guy that attempts to take your virginity away is not a guy worth keeping. Thats a big offense on my part. I think that you should stay strong in your beliefs.
