Remember, Christian theology took a loooong time to agree on exactly what was and wasn't important enough to be in the Bible. Even now there are some disagreements as to what's in and out between sects (Apocrypha, Book of Mormon, etc.) So no, they're not all of equal importance. Compare Esther or Ruth, both quick narratives, to Leviticus or Numbers, concerned with the nuts and bolts of administration and legalities. It's not even apples and oranges, it's apples and transmission fluid.

yes,i believe all the books in the Bible are of equal importance because all Scriptures are inspired "Word of God".There is truth in it.He is the author of the Bible. He had chosen 40 men to write what He wanted them to say.The bible is inerrant which means free of mistakes.God Spirit guided"Holy men of God" so that the words they wrote were kept free from error.,the bible is infallible which means it is not wrong on any subject.Jesus certified Old Testament as accurate.accepted Genesis as a factual account of creation(Matt 19:4).
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God"( 2Tim 3:16 )
"by inspiration of God",theopneustos in Greek, literally means "God-breathed".
when we read and study the bible it is useful for our spiritual growth.

Hi Crazy Carl;
An excellent question you have asked,
I have a question for you my friend,,,
Do you beleive all parts of your body are of equal importance?
We all have different parts of varied importance, such as hands, feet, hair, teeth, heart lungs brain and so on.
I think there are primary books in the bible that hold greater importance than others, but they are all needed to support each other to make up a singular, healthy functioning whole.
Any subtractions, could incur mild to major imbalances.
Just like the human body.
Thats my theory anyway
Does that sound like a viable response?
good question.

I absolutely believe that the Torah, or Old Testament, is important, and the other books they added to it later don't matter at all.

yes, they are all equally truth.
one can't be a selective believer when it comes to God's Word.
if there is one thing in there that is not true, then God is a liar, for He says it is 100% Truth.
and, God is not a liar.
at least, my God is not.
