when i read the Taryiag Mistvah, it says in Jewish tradition that men do not shave the 5 corners of their beard. the symbolism of shaving a beard was that a man had "sinned". but it was ONCE a commandment of a non changing God to Keep a beard but Mankind seems to have changed the commandment into the opposite of what once was Preferred

The Bible says you must

The Bible did require it... but we were also supposed avoid swine, dig holes for our "bathroom" reprives, and leave Soddom & Gammorah.... things have changed a bit, don't you think? It's the interpretation of the Bible that matters to most now. Many religions believe a beard is a sign of being "unkept" whereas the Bible requires a presentable image when representing God.

Believe it or not, many employers are against beards too!

Under the law, a beard was a must for Jewish males. They were to be neat and trimmed. When the Law was removed, so was the requirement on beards.

What difference would it make? A beard does not change the condition of the heart.

In the old testament, the first male child was not to shave his hair (a Nazarean practice). Most men at that time had one because it was manly. In the New testament it did not matter. You either had one , or didn't. Doesn't matter to God.

Jesus had a beard! I guess it's OK, if I was a man, I wouldn't mind having one.... go ahead if you're considering growing one.
