Usually polyps are internal and cause very little if any pain, but may cause some stomach cramping and you may notice some blood when you use the bathroom. You will need to see a doctor and probably have a colonoscopy done to check for polyps. It is rare for young people to have polyps but not impossible.I have been getting them since I was 14,so don't dismiss the possibility. Hemorrhoids are a little more painful and can be internal or external. They can cause itching, swelling, bleeding,& if they are thrombossed they can be extremely painful. Most hemorrhoids can be treated at home, however if you suspect that you have thrombossed hemrrhoids you must see a doctor and have them lanced.

Haemorrhoid's are blood vessels similar to varicose veins. They can be around the anus or internal in the rectum. They can bleed after a bowel action. Constipation can cause them . A polyp is an abnormal growth of tissue along the gastro intestinal tract. Some can become cancerous. They are usually found on endoscopy, a look inside the tract with a camera, and biopsied, most removed at the time of the procedure. Yes a teenager can get both. More unusual for polyps.

A polyp is a growth of tissue and a hemorrhoid is a blood vessel. Hemorrhoids will NEVER turn into cancer, but some polyps will.
Yes, teenagers can get both, though you would expect both of these conditions to be a mature persons condition.
Hemorrhoids are the result of constipation and straining during a bowel movement. Aggravated by poor diet with little fiber.

Yes.
A hemorrhoid is a bulging vein near your anus, often caused by straining.
A polyp is a protrusion of the intestinal wall. This also is often caused by constipation.
Hemorrhoids are often itchy, polyps are not. Hemorrhoids are often visible from the outside, polyps are not.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/QEwnC
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
