some1 extemely funny or someone who treats u with respect but not ALLL that funny ?could u answer that please..
i m the second , im 17 and not ALLLLLLL that bad looking (some girls did call me cute so fingers crosed im not )..im not too shy ....i dont seem to attract any girls ? or is it that girls are really good at hiding their feelings pretty well ?
i know there a lot of q;s in there but i thank u for ur time ..

I don't think it's the girls, I think it's just the way you're letting yourself be treated by them. You can treat a girl with a lot of respect and still have her see you as a guy and not just a "brother" or a "friend". There are some VERY ugly guys out there who are never short of dates because they know how to treat a girl properly, but also be charming. Try learning how to flirt a little bit. Try smiling at them and bringing them flowers. Tell them they look beautiful.
Girls will always notice the funny guy first, but they will always marry the second guy.

For me, I'd like a guy who's respectful because with respect comes trust. A funny guy can't really be as trusted, now can he? :)
Plus, it really depends on the girls sense of humor. Some chicks may think you suck but others may think you're effing hilarious. You just have to find the right girl.
I'm sure you're pretty good looking. You sound good looking anyways. But that's irrelevant.
Being shy may make you a little distant with the girls. Have you ever noticed how the "popular" guys are always pursuing THEM? It's not the other way around. Just get aquainted with any girl you like. She'll notice you more if you make an effort.
Plus, girls are really good at hiding their feelings. But mostly it's because every girl has their own facial expressions or ways of showing how they feel. No girl is the same. So it's kinda hard to interpret their feelings when you don't know a girl.

Why cant you be funny and treat a lady with respect. There is a time and a place for everything. You should always be respectful towards women. Girls are pretty good about hiding their feelings for boys, especially at your age. So if you like a girl, ask her out, just be yourself.

RESPECT is the far most #1 quality for me in a guy...If he can show me respect then I know he has a lot more great qualities in him.....He doesn't need to be funny because I can make myself laugh....LOL......People have different opinions and values for all sorts of reasons...you are young and girls your age have a lot of life experiences to go through and learn when it comes to guys and relationships.....Your young be patient and maybe be more out going.......No worries.....The right girl has not come around yet and she will because she is looking for you........

Well...both.....i wouldnt just go out with the first guy cuz he is funny so i will have to go with the second. You said you're not all that bad looking either. You never know...girls could be all over you and talk about you all the time but u just dont know it cuz girls usually don't just say that they like someone...to their face....so you never know just go to the girl you like and ask her out!

well i doubt youre ugly if girls call you cute =P but a lot of girls are shy (like me) so you might wanna make the first move.

personally, i always fall for the funny guys. if a guy can make me laugh, there is a 95% that i either already like them or if i keep hanging out with them, i will like them eventually. like right now, i really like this guy who i find hilarious, but he can be an ***. sometimes hes nice and sweet, but other times he a total *** and most of the people that i know find him extremely annoying-but i've managed to like him since october.

Actually,girls like both types of guys.We want someone that can make us laugh and be respectful.Also girls are able to hide their feelings pretty well.I also hide my feelings alot.So it is totally normal.

It's just a personal preference, dude. Just be yourself, the person you best like to be, and then you will attract people who like that in you.
It takes time, but don't fret about it, it will happen.
