The best thing is to not be around the person anymore and have no contact with the person via e-mail, phone, etc. The last thing is time, time will be the trick, time heals all pain. u might still think about the person i don't think that would go away but u want be in love.

Love is a lie you tell yourself. All you need to do is see through the false persona you have made for this person. Then your love will just go away on it's own.
You sound like you're attracted to someone and you don't want to cheat. Just remember that if you're a decent person with an adult capacity for solving your problems, you won't have any problem not cheating.
If not, then you should break up/divorce, and tell them it is because you lack the basic humanity to commit yourself.

HONESTLY...there isnt anything u can do...i love this one guy BUT he is my friends crush and she introduced us.so all i could do was tell him how i feel and stop talkin to him.when i see him sure i want to be around him n talk to him ETC. BUT i cant so i just walk away...i act like i dont like him anymore... and then later it got better...sure it feelt like for ever but i got myself a BF and now i spend time with him and not thinking about the other guy....honestly i dont think n-e thing can help but this is as close as i have come to finding a way to get rid of it....

the only answer is cold turkey. stay away from the person you are not supposed to be involved with. No calls, no emails, no letters, no visitation, Nothing...
