If you ever have a chance to own this breed... Man, what an intelligent dog. They will challenge you, they will look you in the eye and question your motive... Amazing dogs; it is up to you to give them all of your attention to exploit everything that they are worth which will lift them up to their full abilities. If you don't know Shelties or are not ready for a challenge, please do yourself and the dog a favor, don't get one. They can be demanding and a handful and at the same time (if ignored) stressful and damaging.

i love my sheltland. She is blended with a lab. they're very energetic and opt to get interest. they're large round youthful little ones and are very pleasant. My Shetland tries to chase cats, yet i imagine she is only desirous to play. She likes to play with our friends dogs it is a touch dogs no longer a lot larger than a cat. She continuously has a lot of skill, yet she is a awesome puppy.

Shelties are cool! and the best at dog agility! I don't own one myself, but i know a lot of people that do, and they love them!

great dogs, highly intelligent, can be demanding, but lovable. have had shelties for over 30 yrs, also used to breed them. love them.
