Anxiety is just FEAR. When you're afraid, your body puts out adrenaline. When the adrenaline begins to wear off then you experience those heart palpitations, shortness of breath (its like a hangover after drinking).

The worrying about the symptoms, unfortunately, just keep the cycle going over and over again.

One thing that can stop Anxiety quickly is using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or Emotional Tapping. EFT is a kind a acupressure tapping. It's easy to learn (can learn in less than one hour) and easy to apply. You can use it anytime, anyplace for any reason. No doctors, no medications.

You can download the FREE EFT Instructional Manual from www.emofree.com.

I used to have a lot of fear, anxiety, panic attacks. Now I use EFT everyday whenever I need to.

unless you want to continue feeling this way you should go to the dr there are generic medicines they can give you to prevent from even getting them in the first place and there are also medicines you can take right when you get the attacks..I have anxiety attacks to and they really suck I take genmeric prozac everyday so I very seldom get the attacks but I have xanax for when i do actually get them and klonapin for the really bad ones believe me i would rather take that pill then live with the anxiety..I know exactly what you are going through...Mine usually lasted 4-6 hours and wouldnt go away until after I finally through up, I didnt want to be alone and was really jittery and hot and cold at the same time, palpatations...etc It is awful do your self a favor and go get something you will be glad you did, even though you get past it after suffering for awhile you will get another one and the more you get the more frequent they become..
