stay away from the romantic cliche gifts. No chocolate, no flowers, no perfume, and above all no lingerie! if you want to get him a gift. give him something small that he would appreciate but not from any of the previous categories.

a card with some of your own words --- if he does not appreciate that then he is not interested --- anything else is problematic as you may not know him well enough to get something that he will like --- best wishes
