I've never had one before, but I heard fried twinkies are really good and this I've by many people not just one or two. I've been meaning to try that.

Anyways here are some websites on deep fried oreos with recipes--There's a picture on one of the sites too so check them out.

County and state fairs are the only place i have seen them sold. But I have fried cheesecake before. It is the same idea. What I used was a basic batter mixt, that we actually used as a base for our fish for fish and chips, but added a little sugar and cinnamon. It has a nice blond to golden color.

This is a new trend at State and County fairs. It's just very sweet and gooey is all. They dip it in a sweet batter and cook it in boiling oil. They also have Snickers, Twinkees... heck, you can deep fry anything and it's not bad... just depends what you like.

You can find them in Vegas and at county/state fairs. They are yummy but fattening. They take Oreos and dip them in elephant ear batter then deep fry them. I got my sister-in-law addicted this summer. :-)

I have had these with chocolate sauce all over them. I did not like it with the chocolate, but I did enjoy them plain. Yes, they are very fattening.

I'd love to know too. I wonder how hard they are to make. Sounds good.
