Yes- Adam passed to all his descendents the inherent sinful nature he posessed because of his first disobediance.
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man
sin entered the world,
and death through sin,
and thus spread to all men,
because all have sinned-
Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Psalm 14:1-3
The fool has said in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good.
The LORD looks down from heaven
upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand,
who seek God.
They have all turned aside,
They have together become corrupt,
There is none who does good,
No, not one.
Jer. 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all
things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
Genesis 6:5
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man
was great in the earth, and that every intent
of the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually.

No. What is a sin in your religion is not necessarily a sin in someone else's. What is illegal in your country is not necessarily illegal in someone else's. All societies and cultures have rules so that there can be some order in the society. Most people obey the rules, if they don't they are punished.
You can only sin if you break the rules of a religion to which you belong but you break the law if you break the rules of your society. Some societies impose religious laws on the people so every breach of the law is also a sin but again, it is a sin only if you accept that religion.
Most people are not law breakers which is why society works. If people are sinful that is in the eyes of religion only. A good citizen can keep the laws of the country and still be seen as sinful in the eyes of a church - but if s/he doesn't belong to that church, s/he commits no sin.

I believe that people are not by nature sinful, but are by nature inclined to sin. There is a difference there.

Yes, we all have a sinful nature. The Bible states--"there is none righteous, no, not one." By Adam's sin, we are all sinners, and we must look to the gift of eternal life that Jesus has provided for us in His death, burial, and resurrection to claim victory over sin, death, hell, and the grave. We are definitely lost in sin if we haven't received Christ as personal saviour.

dissimilar Christians (exceedingly Catholics) have self belief interior the thought-approximately unique Sin, which tries to portray people as inherently sinful, abominable creatures who require God to loose them from their sinful nature. I of direction thoroughly disagree with that. in my view, i think of that's a stability. I won't dispute that some human beings are predisposed to be sturdy/undesirable/etc, yet I nonetheless think of that people are born with a mixture of sturdy, undesirable and arguable features. sturdy circumstances can deliver out the greater valuable features of people (i.e. kindness, compassion, generosity, etc.) mutually as suffering can deliver out the greater serious features (anger, hatred, selfishness etc.). that's why the saintly human beings you pay attention approximately who do good stuff and truthfully fix your faith in humanity have a tendency to have had stunning upbringings; mutually as the mass murderers and rapists have a tendency to have had a particularly crap upbringing. I in trouble-free terms choose the media gave greater weighting to the sturdy aspects of humanity. I propose, there have been a lot of folk available who've risked their lives for human beings they do no longer even comprehend- I propose, i come across that quite stunning. The media's constantly so busy speaking approximately each and all of the evil people available which you quite start to think of that people suck, whilst truthfully they may well be quite sturdy on the finished. besides, that's basically what i think of.

Sin is defined by man, so I don't think people are naturally sinful. People are driven by their nature to survive.

People are people. Those who wish to control us find "sin" a useful tool for their purpose.
