Well, the only reason I get my creation in a bunch is when they say one is over the other. One is SCIENCE (insert theatrical voice) and the other is silly(any voice will do).

To me either or but not one over the other. When you start spouting billions of years and talking like that is the only way it makes sense is as silly as say six days and a nap.

Also evos usually speak as if this proves God does not exist and present it as so. Then I get really bent out of shape. So most evos are attacking spiritual and religious beliefs and saying we do not know truth.

Really is an eternal being speaking something into existence harder to believe than a bunch of goo getting super charged and "Poof" then after Billions of years the goo is now a fish that looks at land and "decides" to go for a long walk and wills itself to change? I say that takes a whole lotta faith.

Remember lab coats and pocket protectors do not make fact. Truth is no one knows how it "really" started. But, I believe God did it. That's right it is His fault! Why is the important reason and science does not even begin to understand that truth.

Evolution might be considered a religious idea. I never thought of it that way. In other words, the Athiests that believe so strongly in it are actually not atheists at all. They believe that the god of evo will protect them by changing their very nature if the eartyh becomes too cold, too warm, too wet, or too dry. They don't have any problem at all with the earth's temperature changes or anything else, they will just "evolve" to take care of whatever problem comes up. BY the way, why don't people that are drowning just adapt and form gills to brteathe underwater? Why don't people who are burning in a building just adapt by growing and extra hard shell to protect their bodies? GOD did not create us in that manner. That is why! HE created us man and woman to be with one another. HE created us to live comfortably on this earth that HE also created. We have no evolutionary processes in our past or our future. If evolution is such a scientific fact, why are scientists unable to prove it is true and many still do not believe it at all?? Have a great day.

Evolution is not a religion, or spiritual question. It does not agree with some religious beliefs, such as creationism, but it is based on science. It is not just a random theory, but a theory backed up by evidence. If you still insist that evolution is wrong, may be you should reread your science book.

No-one defends it as such. It actually amuses me to find people here trying to attack it because of their religious beliefs, why not have a go at gravity?
