whats the legal age to get a tattoo done in Florida?
and if you have parent consent/signature is it lower?

This is all I can find for Florida:

Florida Statutes

TITLE XLVI CRIMES
CHAPTER 877 MISCELLANEOUS CRIMES

877.04 Tattooing prohibited; penalty. ——

(1) It is unlawful for any person to tattoo> the body of any human being; except that may be performed by a person licensed to practice medicine or dentistry under chapters 458 and 459 or chapter 466, or by a person under his or her general supervision as defined by the Board of Medicine.

(2) Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

(3) No body of a minor shall be
So while tattooers work in Florida under general medical supervision, it seems that parents may sign off on minors and there is no age limitation.

Insane. I said it before, and I'll say it again...it is child abuse to tattoo a 14 year old!!! What are parents thinking??!!

The legal age everywhere is 18, you may be able to find a studio that will tattoo you, but they would have to be a pretty shady place, and I don't think I would want to get a tattoo there. You should really wait until you're 18, plus it's worth the wait......

Don't get one till your 21 years old. Give yourself time. You may not want one by then. When you're 15 years old, some things sound cool and you are in such a hurry to get it done, but.. you may find that if you just wait, then you may grow out of a phase and be happy you did later. Thats what happened to me. Good luck. I don't mean to sound geeky! I'm only 10 years older than you, and I am paying lots of money right now to get my three tattoos removed that I got when I was 15. :)

There is no state in the USA that allows tattooing on anyone under 18yo. And, in most states, it is considered statuatory rape to put a tattoo on anyone under 18, EVEN WITH PARENT'S CONSENT!!!

the united states law requires you to be 18 (regardless of parents consent) otherwise you can get a tattoo at the lowest age of 15.

16 with parental consent, 18 without. Most places will make the parent come with their son/daughter and sign all the paperwork.

16 and with both parents in person at the shop.
18 to do it without.
wait until you are older. you might regret it at a young age.
i'm not saying not to get one, but think it out, and wait a while. the tattoo parlors will stilll be there.
