I was just wondering....if the fundamentalist Christians need to teach their beliefs in schools...what was wrong with their churches? Are their churches not effective? What is wrong wrong with your churches?

P.S. The day you start teaching my kids your creationist garbage is the day I start going up to your kids and teaching them that the world was created by a giant pervert child molesting penguin named super bill.

Let's get a few facts out of the way right now.

Creationism is not a theory. It is a belief. It is a disproved belief. It was not arrived at using the scientific method. It was arrived at by pointing to translations of the bible.

Evolution occuring is not a theory. Evolution ocurrung is a fact. Apparently a lot of you don't understand this.

How, and why evolution occur are theories. There is debate in that area. There is NO scientific debate that evolution occurs. NONE. ZIP. ZERO. We have seen evolution occur. We have documented evolution occur. It's happened in moths changing colour in urban areas during the industrial revolution.

If you want to teach your kids in CHURCH, or in YOUR PRIVATE schools that evolution is caused by God...fine...you did that when the Church was proven wrong about the Earth being the center of the universe.

However...evolution is a FACT. DEAL WITH IT!!!!

As far as the state of the schools....which schools are you talking about? I'm going to assume that you mean the inner city ones. Do you think the recent decline in the schools there just might have something to do with the middle class abandoning the cities in the 50s???

Ya' think that the underfunding from a declining property tax base, that leads to class over crowding and massive beauracracies, might have something to do with that?

P.S. The kids that went to the Christian schools were just as rude, foul mouthed, and listening to Ipods as the ones in the urban schools.

P.P.S about guns and gun threats...that last one happened by a devoted Christian at an amish religious school....obviously your religion makes a huge difference in education.

Get a brain.

I have seen churches that are effective, and I have seen some that aren't. But, I don't think that that is really the issue.

I think that the real question is, what are you guys afraid of? If you are so sure that your garbage THEORY of evolution is right, why are you afraid of having a creation THEORY also taught alongside of it? If the facts are there to support your theory, you shouldn't be so afraid.

I think that your major issue is that you are afraid that there actually is a God, and that you will one day be accountable for your sins. I think you cling to your evolutionist garbage theory so that you can try to convince your heavy conscience that your sins aren't really that bad, that you don't have to bow to anyone and confess your sins, that you are a pretty decent guy over all, and God doesn't exist, so you won't really have to go to hell if you don't repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

Are you afraid, little man super bill, of the judgment?

If things were the way Jesus wanted them to be, there would be no deniminations anywhere on this planet. Only congregations of the Lord's church which you find in the Bible. Not divided, not teaching different doctrines, but all teaching the same things you find taught in the Bible, the same message which was preached 2000 plus years ago on the day of Pentecost.

Look at what is wrong with YOUR schools.
Kids pulling bomb threats.
Kids bring weapons to schools.
Kids attached to their iPods, parents not being part of their growth ad learning.
Kids today are more disrespectful, more demanding and less tolerant for those older than them.
The day I am forced to bring my kids to YOUR school is the day I paint myself blue, go naked and hang upside down from an oak tree with an sign that reads "it's the end of the world."
Those odds are slim and none. Slim is leaving town.

FYI
Sixty years ago, you would have seen that penguin every day.
