I believe that the earth is flat because of my religious beliefs, and I believe for my children they should stop teaching that the Earth is round in school, it goes against my religion and I don't want my kids exposed to that kind of demon

have you never seen a picture of the earth??
It's not technically round - I believe it's eggshapped, don't quote me on that, I recall hearing it somewhere though.
But I can respect that your religious beliefs maybe don't allow you to see some of the things other people do - like the first time humans went to the moon. These images are real, they are not made up - thanks to technology. But like I said, I respect your beliefs and if the school is teaching your children something that you are not comfortable with (not matter what it is) you'll never be able to change it, the earth being flat was proven false centuries before us, and they will use that argument against you. So what I would do: homeschool your children, that would be the best thing for you and your family so that they can grow up being taught what you believe. Eventually you will have to understand that your children will grow up to be adults and will have a choice to believe whatever they wish and you'll have to be in a position to accept that. The eath being round never did me any harm so I see no demon in that which has been proven harmless. Good luck.

The world being round is not a demon. Might as well say that we are standing on Satan. Yes, the world is round, and there is no edge. If there was an edge, which there isn't, you wouldn't fall into Hell, but outer space. The only way to reach Hell or Heaven is to die. You'll see the truth when your time comes. God bless you.

The Earth is spherical - If you don't want your children to know this - Keep them away from the TV - Just in case they see pictures beamed back form the shuttle - they might end up thinkiing differently from you - well I hope common sense prevails and they do

I'm curious as to what religion you are. You're certainly not Christian, because I've never met one yet that believes that rubbish.

Even Enoch (seventh son of Adam) was shown by God that the planets were not only orbs (round shaped) but each had its own orbital pathways. How cool is that!

At any rate - your religion is sounds..., dumb. But hey, more power to you, and may your children be as dumb as you want them to be. if thats what you really want.

Thats not a good example good sir. Any child with eyes will know that the earth is not flat. However, it won't be easy to convince a child that he/she came from apes.

The Quran and science say the earth is round.

The earth, technically, is not round because of the deep seas and high mountains. So sure if you want to think it is flat go ahead, I think it is bumpy.

It has been written in the Book Of Renovations that the Earth is an oblate spheroid. Woe to those who say otherwise. It shall be to them as a plague of ants have devoured their tic-tacs.

I agree, religion is a much better basis to be brought up on than what some scientist says. Is it not obvious that god knows more than a scientist? Lets all shut our eyes now and believe.

Its funny how many people take your question literally.
