it can be proved experimentally that the earth revolves around the sun, that hydrogen and oxygen make water, and that gravity exists. Evolution cannot be proved experimentally. evolutionists admit that “debate rages about theories of evolution.” But do debates still rage about the earth revolving around the sun, about hydrogen and oxygen making water, and about the existence of gravity? No.

The theory of evolution as presented by Darwin himself is disproved according to his own methods. They are:
1) No proof in the fossil record. In the 120 or so years man has accumulated 2.5 million fossils and no more than 2 of the 50,000 steps to evolve have ever been found.
2) The compexity of life, the smaller it is disproves Darwins theory as well.

What is so amazing is that evolution, a theory only, that does not qualify to become a law, a consistent, repeatable and duplicatable fact and is taught to all in our schools, from elementary to college, as a fact.

In fact in these same schools we are taught that to "believe in the act of creation" is to be stupid and moronic, possibly even evil. No wonder people have such a hard time with the truth.

Debates raged (past tense) about the Heliocentric system. Copernicus said that the planets circled the sun, Newton said different. Einstein said some else again.

Circles?
Elipses?
Straight line in curved space?

All very different - but all agree that its the sun in the centre.

Now with evolution we have debates:
- Gradual evolution
- Punctuated equelibrium
but both these agree "evolution", just as Copernicus, Newton and Einstein agreed heliocentricity.

Debates still rage about the precise makeup of evolution. Debates still rage about the precise make up of those hydrogen and oxygen atoms, whether there are gravitons to produce gravity etc. The debates will continue on BUT noone is going to go back to saying that the sun goes around the earth, that water is an element and that gravity is solely earthbound.

Similarly debates will continue to rage about the details of evolution but were not going to go back to Creationism.

Ah, but debate did rage about the earth revolving around the sun at one time...
the debate is due to people who get their science from 4000 year old books of mythology.

Of course,, you actually CAN'T prove the earth revolves around the sun - no point of reference that is definitely stationary.

There are no "sturdy arguments" against evolution. those individuals who've dealt with biology and organic and organic concepts for a protracted time comprehend that that's a medical theory and, as a theory, it won't be in a position to be shown, whether that's changed via new innovations. the belief is in accordance with rational medical concept and inference, and all records that has been uncovered has pointed to its effortless soundness. Your instructor teaches it as reality (as do I), via fact there are no potential options different than creationism or some clever layout theory. If somebody needs to place forth a sparkling theory with observable, analyzable info, then they'd have something well worth discussing. yet,so a strategies as i comprehend, no creationist has ever pointed to three proper innovations and mentioned, "This exhibits why i'm amazing." they'd in trouble-free terms factor out why evolution is misguided. Creationists take innovations out of context and twist words around to make their factor without prognosis, exprimentation, or inference- the very foundation of medical concept.

Please learn about what you are speaking of. Evolution has been documented and proven. It has been observed. Did you know that humans once used that appendix you had?

We have watched evolution occur in MANY species in the last 100 years alone. I am not talking about fossil records. I am talking about concrete proof....we watched moths change colours over a course of decades in England to compensate for polution. The rural moths did not change colour. What does that tell you?

Instead of coming from a position of "this is what I believe, so I will therefor try to disprove what my faith system contrasts with" maybe try coming from a position of..I wonder how that happened. That position leads you to logical fact.....evolution.

P.S. the debate isn't over whether evolution occurs, the debate is over HOW and WHY evolution occurs. There is NO scientific debate over it occuring.

Your question is replete with inaccuracies. You should understand, first of all, that in scientific parlance "theory" does NOT mean an idea that somebody pulled out of thin air; in science, a theory is an EXPLANATION OF A PROCESS KNOWN TO EXIST. The "theory of evolution" is an explanation of a process known to exist, a FACT. Every time you put gas in your car, you disprove the Bible and creationism. Get an education.

Debates only rage because the people who believe in Sky Fairies insist that Evolution is unbelievable. Which is ironic in the least. Too bad there's so many idiots who were brainwashed into thinking we were created from a pile of dirt and a rib. And what a pity that their difficulty separating fact from fiction is holding back science.

The debates though are the HOW not the IF it happens.

Gravity is only a theory as well. We don't argue the HOW of that as much as evolution because it doesn't lead us down as interesting of a path. Thanks.

debate rages about theories of evolution.”

This is in reference to the actual mechanisms that drive evolution. The fact that evolution occurs is not in debate.

Evolution is a historical science and is proved in the same way as Cosmology and Plate tectonics. It isn't even close to being in doubt. Get an education.
