Many right-wing Christian conservaives promote facist ideas, such as creating a dictatorship, in which people would not be allowed to practice any other religion but Chrstianity and in which religious and sexual minorites would be discriminated against or even killed. Can we call such Christian conservatives "Christo-fascists" or is there a better term? If yes, which one would you suggest?

Well if Islamofascists exist, then there certainly is such a thing as Christofascists.

There are plenty of ultra-right wing Christian wackos out there whom that term would aptly describe.

I do not think it is a good term as it groups all Christians together as neo-fascists. I am Christian and i will never vote Republican for the exact issues you describe. I also doubt the sincerity of Republican "Christians" often as many of them seem to simply want to exploit fundamentalist votes. You are correct however that the fundamentalists do have fascist ideas and if they had enough power would likely set up an intolerant dictatorship. But there are many Christians who protest wars, support unions, oppose the death penalty, and help poor people due to our religious convictions. I do not feel I deserve to be grouped with fundamentalists through a term like Christofascist. I would suggest the continued use of the term "fundamentalists" because we all know what it means and it does not yoke in innocent people.

Well, fascism is actually an economic model...
but we certainly need a term to describe the so-called right-wing religious movement in the US. Maybe "Christo-radicals" or "radical Christianity"? Conservative and right-wing are poor terms, because neo-conservativism is neither conservative nor right-wing.

Can you name one of these people? I am as right wing as you can get, yet I believe that the United States has the best system in place.

If you ever find a Christian who really wants those things (I'm a Christian for 50+ years - and I've met some whack-jobs - but never yet have I met one who wants "dictatorships, religious discrimination, or murder") - then - you could certainly call them that.

When you honestly find one.

I think "right-wing Christian conservative" has a bad enough connotation now; no need to add "fascist."
