I don't care about any scientist's approval.

I don't eat meat because I don't want to hurt any creature.

That is the most bizarre idea I have ever heard. Human digestion is not designed to be strictly vegetarian (like the multiple stomachs of a cow). Human teeth include those sharp canine teeth that are designed for ripping meat, not for attacking carrots.

If you want to be a vegetarian go right ahead. Just don't tell us some made-up tale to harangue meat-lovers into following your example. We who eat complete protein and live longer will be around long after you have munched your last plate of peas and corn.

i comprehend! Animal flesh=meat. end of tale. in case you in basic terms consume some meat, you are able to no longer call your self a vegetarian...properly i recommend you are able to yet that doesn't make you one. i do no longer comprehend why abruptly fowl and chicken do no longer count selection, I recommend, they are living too! i assume comprehend that being vegetarian is amazingly glamorized and is viewed the final concern to do, some human beings that don't want to resign ingesting meat call themselves "Flex Vegetarians." in accordance to the definition, thats what i'm then, it is basically an omnivore that doesn't consume too plenty meat, in basic terms in specific circumstances. So i assume this suggests that fairly plenty surely everyone seems to be a vegetarian. Jade

I don't know what scientist told you that humans were herbivores, but he's mistaken. We are omnivores, which means we eat both plant and animal. And you are wrong, our stomachs are capable of digesting meat, in fact, our bodies need meat. Meat has essential proteins that our bodies need to function. And besides, its the circle of life. Lions, bears, and other carnivorous animals eat meat without guilt. Why can't we? Those animals die, to keep us strong, and then we die, our bodies go back to the earth, the grass then grows, to be eaten by herbivores.
Circle of life.

Being a vegan requires vitamin b-12 shots, Our bodies can not synthesize certain proteins with out meat or animal products.
I was a vegan for 4 years and a vegetarian for 12 until I was pregnant and the baby inside me made me crave meat, my child is also on the carnivorous side of omnivorous.

We have the dentition and digestive system to eat meat as well as grains, fruit, nuts and some roots and leaves. We can't digest cellulose which makes a lot of plant material unavailable. We are omnivores.

Scientists have consistently stated we are omnivores (that is, we eat both plants and animals) and not herbivores (plants only). Our teeth are designed to eat meat (canines - for tearing); and without the cooperation to hunt down large game, civilization would never have happened.

Additionally, herbivores have multiple stomachs and longer digestive systems. Ours are suited for meat eating.

Can you give a link to this evidence. I thought the opposite was true, we have teeth that have evolved specifically for the purpose of being able to tear meat.
