There is a hair product called JOICO Ice Hair Spiker water resistant hair glue. Its a bright blue gel container with SPIKER on it in large letters. They sell it at any beauty supply store. My son uses it and it really works, believe me, I've bought all the other stuff too.

Use hair cement- i do not keep in mind what the product is named (it is from previous the Zone i imagine) yet there is an miraculous hair cement that is offered in a silver tube you'll get at Sally splendor. when I had my hair short, it held it in position in the most ridiculous kinds :D some hairspray on properly of that ought to in all likelihood help too. solid success :D

glue is right.

use a blowdryer, on low, while your hair is already dry. You should have to twist them. Use patients.

another sticky solution is gelatin. It's sold at markets, it's powder that you mix to your little hearts desire. not j-e-l-l-o.
