By the way this did happen! The person was questioned on other charges that were somewhat related to the party where the drinking happened. The party was busted and the person had already left but gave the person an underage 4 days later because someone told them that the person had been drinking the night of the party.

Very doubtful. The person accused would not be able to take a blood alcohol test. However, the police will probably be watching very carefully in the future.

The only way they can bust u 4 something days after it's is like by a secret inditement.&,they have 2 have solid proof or enough evidence 4 the inditement.I think that this ussually only happens like w/drugs where a person buys or sells drugs 2 an undercover cop or a snitch. This ussually includes the person being recorded during the transaction.I hardly think that giving a under age drinking citation is a serious enough offence 4 this 2 happen.

it truly is a wedding ceremony reception, no longer a carnival or food pageant the position you ought to have tickets to get issues. i'd locate yet another venue the position the travelers are treated with splendor and respect. And who must be the fellow in fee of passing out the drink tickets at a wedding ceremony reception? that would not be a exciting thanks to spend the afternoon or nighttime. actually everyone who needs yet another drink has to pass locate Sally? Sally won't be able to spend the nighttime on the dance floor or chatting with human beings because she's the Drink fee ticket lady? Bleh.

They can give tickets anytime they want but the thing is they must be able to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt in the court. If they don't have enough evidences, the case will be dismissed in the court. Get a lawyer and do not plead guilty. You might have a very good chance to win the case.

Yeah, they were drinking and underage, as long you can prove they were drinking then they should get the ticket. Thats why there are so many teenage deaths due to drunk driving.

Pretty much has to be at the time of the offense. Hearsay won't stand up in court. The person who provided the adult beverages may be in a peck of trouble though if there were any witnesses.

I doubt it. You would need solid evidence to prove that underage person was drinking alcohol.

They could but they probably wouldnt unless it was an A Hole cop and then it probably would get thrown out of court.
