my valentine said he's really sorry but he couldn't get out to get me a valentine. i'm kinda bummed. not because i just wanted something but i really like this guy and he said he liked me. i guess i feel like he doesn't really like me and that he doesn't have time for me.

how should i feel?

we're not really dating, he just asked me to be his valentine.
i really don't care about a gift, it's just nice to do that for people.
i'm not superficial, i don't care whether or not he gets me anything.

Well, u don't want to sound greedy and shallow, but I completely understand the way u feel. Giving something to somebody u care about is a way of expressing ur love for them. Maybe u can talk to him about its okay hes not giving u a Valentine cuz ur sure that spending time with him that day will be worth it. Maybe he planned something fun or nice for the two of u to do! And if not, that might get the idea into his head. Good luck!

You should tell him how you feel. Girls some times think that guys SHOULD know automatically how that makes you feel. The truth is we are not mind readers and we don't think like girls. Try and not make him feel like you were expecting it but that you need those kinda gestures to feel special every now and then. You shouldn't feel bad, for all you know he might be trying to surprise you. Maybe he really couldn't get you anything, but if he really cares about you he will listen to you and make the effort to do something nice.
