I've been going out with my bf for over 6 months and yesterday we were on the phone and he seemed particularly sad so i asked him whats wrong. At first he was saying "nothing".. but then he said "well i was just thinking about what if we're not meant to be together... what would you do" After he said that he just acted normal, like nothing happened. And then today he is acting all distant kind of, i dont know how to describe it, although he acts like nothing happened. I'm just not sure what to think anymore. We had a perfect relationship up to this point, he was very excited for valentines day and this is so confusing to me.. Does anybody have any ideas on what this could mean? Is he like leading to breaking up with me? ... thanks for your imput

Something is happening, and u must be direct and ask him whats going on. Because part of a "perfect" relationship is SINCERITY.

I'm sorry to say that he is definitely acting like someone who is not happy in your relationship. I think if he was sad but still happy toward you, it wouldn't be your relationship. However, if he is distant around you, it's probably you.
Don't let this get you down. Turn this around for yourself. The worst thing you can do is be the poor pitiful girlfriend. That is so not attractive. Save your dignity. If it's meant to be, he'll be back.

Yes, I have an idea... He doesn't have enough to offer for Valnetine's day... That's why he's insecure... Just let him know you feel ok although he never bought you anything fancy or anything at all.

maybe its just a depressing week for him. for instance, maybe he saw you talking with a guy and thought you were flirting with him. Talk to him.
