OK.. i've been single 11 months now. I had a breif but intense relationship with a guy in the forces, but it was a rebound thing.. i was with my previos ex 11 years.
My problem is now although at times (like now!! Valentines day is sad when you aint loved up) i really want a relationship and would love to meeet a nice guy, when i do, i completely back off, and i just want to stay single..
This is thwe first time i've been single since i was 16 ( like i said i was with my ex 11 years) and i have no idea what i want??

before you have a relationship you need to find out who you are. you were part of someone else, so start finding out. I was in your boat i went out slept around and enjoyed myself, made up for all the things i had missed out on an experienced life on my own. Until you know who you are you wont no what you want. I loved being on my own, doing what i wanted not answering to anyone. When i was ready i found my now fiance, and its what i want.

no laughter. This time of year is so hard and if you are alone it just makes it harder. You are ready to be loved but still smarting. Don't act in haste its better to have a love of love rather than to get into it quickly and find yourself hurt again. Enjoy romance start watching movies and harmless flirting with the guy at the petrol station etc. They tell me its better to have loved and lost etc but sometimes it better just to dream. Enjoy the dream of romance when it happens it will happen.

i know where u're coming from cos i was with my ex for 12 yrs and now its a bit scary goin out with someone else. so am single at the moment.
give urself time and don't rush into anything. enjoy bein on ur own for now. someone will come along soon who u will like enough to risk getting into a new relationship. well that's what i'm doing now anyway so just thought i would share this with u!!!!!!!!!!

You ain't alone babe, I've been single for 7 years because I don't know what I want, my friends say I'm too picky, it think it is probably because i don't want to get hurt again but staying single isn't the answer, get out there and just meet new people that's what I'm doing now. Good luck!

You need to have fun girl, valentines comes once a year, you don't have to be in a relationship, go out let your hair down ,flirt ,bat your eyes ,get pissed ,go on a all girl holiday ,go on the pull ,it is time to enjoy yourself before you settle down again,and remember no glove no love,go hav fun
