i've been thinkin bout this alot lately. and i know it's normally a jew to converts to christianity, but i'm a christ follower not a christian, i don't believe sum of tha stuff tha christians preach. like how sum sins r worse then others when no sin is worse then another. and how homosexuality is worse then heterosexuality. i've heard in tha jewish faith they recogonize homosexuality as a way of life am i right? tha reason i ask is i'm bi and i know i am and i know i didn't choose this. and i don't believe tha acting upon it is this sin crap anymore. basically i'm done lying to myself. lately i've been thinkin there's um truth to tha davinci code. and whut if jesus wasn't tha messiah? whut if jesus was jus a jewish prophet that got carried away? i'm confused i don't know whut to think i mean i saw tha passion of tha christ and tha nativity story and both stories as i read them in tha new testament seem really true but then again...i dunno. can u help me?

There are at least eight questions within your post, but I'll try to answer them all:

1) Here's a good beginner's article on the events that take place prior to Jesus' return: http://www.raptureready.com/featured/kelley/newyear.html. For advanced reading, go to www.pre-trib.org.

2) To my knowledge, only Catholics preach that there are some sins that are worse than others. Protestants believe that all sins are equal. For example, remember Jesus saying that hating a person is the same as murder? He was trying to explain that God doesn't see one sin (hate) as being less horrific than another (murder).

3) The sin of homosexual sex is no worse than the sin of premarital heterosexual sex.

4) While some very, very liberal Jewish sects may be permissive toward homosexuality, the vast majority understand that God states it is "an abomination" to Him. For example, Leviticus 20:13 reads: "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them."

5) You may not feel you chose to be bisexual, but you DO choose whether you will act upon it. Acting upon it IS a sin; see, for example, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

6) The DaVinci Code is a pack of lies. I don't know what else to say. For example, anyone who thinks Jesus had sex hasn't read Leviticus 15:16-18. Here's a good place to start researching this whole issue: http://www.debunkingdavinci.com/

7) Jesus IS the Messiah. This can be proven statistically: http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aiia/jesus-odds.html

8) I cannot help you, but I can tell you Someone Who can: Jesus Christ. Repent of your sins; understand how far your sins have distanced you from God, who is completely holy. Trust Jesus with all your heart and He will save you -- He will also help you resist temptation.

The messiah is over 2000 years late.

Sure Christians claim that no one will know when exactly the messiah will since it says so in the Bible. But what they forget to mention is that in Luke 21:25-32 Christ tells his followers about the end of the world and his pending return from heaven and then tells them that their generation would not pass away before these things happened.

Gotta love picking and choosing from the Bible, huh? Christians take it one step further by claiming that they follow the entire Bible right after they pick and choose. Love the hypocrisy.

Plushy's answer would not extremely address the question, through the undeniable fact that entire record is issues the messiah will do -- hence they are not "circumstances or events which will take position *previously* Messiah comes", yet somewhat are circumstances or events which will take position *even as* the messiah comes, after his arrival. they're the "He did all that?!!?! Yep, that ought to fairly be him" record. i do not in my opinion recognize of any "that ought to advise he's coming quickly" record. i wager Elijah's visual charm, yet it truly is fairly a lot simultaneous. And no, prophecy isn't a spotlight of present day day Orthodox Judaism. Edit: Ruth -- What do you advise the sanhedrin has been reestablished?
