2 Timothy 1:7 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Fear will feed negative thoughts. Detach emotionally from the negative and exercise pro-active love and thanksgiving.
Allow the Holy Spirit to abide in you and be your guide.
De-energize negative emotions such as fear shame and guilt, they focus on your own self and that blocks our natural state in Christ which is effortless love, good will. Focus outward.
Evil is boring.

* I understand how you feel. When I was a Christian I struggled with sin everyday, I am now pagan and I do not believe in sin and some of the trivial things I used to think a sin is no longer a problem.
Sin is a Christian concept. I am not saying you need to do a reversal in religion like I did, but i do understand what you go through. *

Understand that we all have sinned, and chances are we will continue to sin. In the New Testament Paul states that the flesh is sin. The issue is don't let it get the best of you.
Simply try not to sin again. If you stumble and fall, ask for forgiveness and strength. Then get right back up and keep on trucking and trusting.
God bless

Ah yes, another of the many "benefits" of religion. I feel for you. I really do. I was raised Catholic, myself.
To answer your question, you should live your life with respect for yourself and for other people and animals and plants. Ask questions about the world. Be skeptical about the answers. Always consider the source. Find something you love and pursue it. Ask yourself what you get out of religion, and if you don't know the answer and don't know what you believe, consider questioning your religion, and religion in general.
I don't mean to sound flip; I am quite sincere about all that I said.

Well, I'm even more obsessed with that than you!
I like to think that we are not meant to enjoy this life because I believe (and probably you) in life after death. And this other life is infinite, so we must live this life preparing to the other. I don't know..
It might sound irrational to most of you, but I spend thinking about death sometimes more than I think about life.

relax and keep in mind that we aren't perfect and as much as God hates us sinning against him he's ready to forgive up whenever we confess with out mouths and whole heatedly apologise.
PS: I'm not saying sinning is OK but if you don't know that you're doing wrong then I'm sure God is prepared to forgive you because he loves us, remember he gave is only son to die for us so our sins would be forgiven.

Live your life without fear, there is no hell and damnation,no purgatory or pearly gates. These concepts were designed to instill fear and conformity,as a means of social control, break free from your conditioning, because its all lies....C"mon the Hoops

This means that you refute and refuse the will of God in your life. Without it, you are lost. We find joy in doing the will of God, and in being righteous. These are absolute truths. Walk in iniquity, and you will never be able to enjoy life.

If you believed in Christ you would know that your sins are forgiven. You are not supposed to live under a cloud of guilt. Jesus gives us freedom not bondage. If you live in constant fear of sinning, you should relax and love yourself as God loves you.
God does not condemn you so who are you to condemn yourself?
