The play biting is very natural. The older dog will let the pup know when enoughs enough. It's called bite inhibition. It's the best way for your pup to learn.Do keep them supervised though.

The puppy bites because she doesn't know any better. Most likely, they are just playing, but the older dog isn't used to having a young puppy around. Puppies always want to play, while older dogs may not. Give them some time and be sure to train your puppy to play nice along with regular obedience training. As long as your older dog doesn't viciously attack the puppy, you are probably fine. Just give them some time to get used to each other.

If they weren't getting along, you would get NO PEACE. The playing and biting is normal.. I have two terriers, the oldest (Sancho) is about 12y.o. weighs 25lbs, the youngest (Quixote we call him "Key-Ho")about 3-1/2y.o. weighs about 12lbs. Their playing does turn into "fighting" but it's easy to tell that they are careful in their sparring. Key-Ho will usually attack from behind and start gnawing on Sancho's hind leg.

Well, you should just let them be and maybe just et them roam in the same room with each other and this will force them to socialize as there is nothing else to do! haha. well just let them be and dont use force or feel upset if they dont socialize right away, it takes time and just give them sometime please, thankyou, i have answered these types of questions a lot, haha

Don't worry. They should do fine.
You'll really know for sure if they aren't getting along.
